Before anyone can process any
credit cards, they must first become a merchant with the credit card companies.
Link2Pay is in a unique piston to offer our clients the ability
to become a credit card merchant as well as set you up for E-Commerce
transactions through Authorize.Net.
To become a credit card merchant, please fill out our online Merchant Service Application.
The process is simple. It starts when you complete your online
Merchant Service Application,
once your application has been completed you will receive via US
Mail, your pre-filled application for an original signature, this
allows you to verify your information, and read over all of the
legal verbage that goes with the application.
Your application then goes to the Merchant Service Center for processing, your
references and credit will be checked and your application will be approved.
Once your application has been approved, depending on what you are planning on using
your merchant account for, a number of things may happen.
- An Authorize.Net account will be set-up for you to conduct E-Commerce with,
or process daily transactions using their online terminal.
- Your hardware, if you ordered any, will be shipped to your specified location
- A shopping cart will be set up for your account for you to
add products and conduct E-Commerce with your merchant and Authorize.Net
accounts.
